# OpenAI

To use OpenAI with Vertesia, first generate an [API Key in you OpenAI dashboard](https://platform.openai.com/api-keys).

Next, go to Environments and configure a new Execution Environment:

* Give your environment a name
* Set `OpenAI` in Provider
* Leave the endpoint URL empty
* paste your API key
